RACING H.E.I. DISTRIBUTORS Single-piece ignition delivers consistent, reliable performance up to 9,000 RPM. No other ignition box is needed. Distributor has an internal racing coil and Dyna-Module for maximum spark energy and a customized advance curve. Distributors for GM 602/604 crate motors have special advance curves and melonized distributor gears for use with the steel hydraulic roller camshaft

The 602/604 DUI is designed specifically for these crate engines with two features that set it apart from regular Racing DUIs. First, the mechanical advance is calibrated on a distributor machine with an aggressive and accurate timing curve designed to meet the requirements of these crate motors. This special racing curve will ensure maximum performance and get your car out of the corners faster. Second, a melonized
gear is installed on the distributor (instead of the stock cast gear) which is compatible with factory roller cams.
Capable of turning 9000 RPM
No external spark boxes or coils are needed
Easy drop-in installation with a one wire hookup
Sends 2-3 times more spark into the combustion chamber than a magneto
Allows spark plug gaps to be opened up to .055″
Only pulls 2-3 amps (other systems draw 10+ amps)
